The resort is situated at the very far north of the Male' Atoll and is away from other tourist resorts. The island is narrow but long (length 800m, width 50-135m) and is densely vegetated and has fine sandy beach on its lagoon. From Male' International Airport, the resort is just 15 minutes away by a sea plane or an hour by a speedboat. Helengeli is situated in 90° degree angle to the outer reef and has on both sides a deep channel. Due to this, the house reef is always crowded with many big fish which are rarely seen in other areas. The house reef with 6 entraces is easily reachable for snorkeling and diving right from the beach itself. There are about 40 untouched dive spots near Helengeli with the nearest spot just 5 minutes away by Dhoni.

The hotel counts 50 rooms with the following facilities: reception, restaurant and bar with sandy grounds, public internet corner and W-LAN in the bar (for a fee), little library, small souvenir shop, fresh water child pool and swimming pool. The well equipped Duniye Spa, is the spot for enjoying relaxing treatments and massages.

50 Beach Bungalows
The bungalows blend in harmoniously with the natural surroundings. Outside seating facilities allow for relaxed and unobstructed views over the lagoon. All rooms are equally furnished and offer an open air bathroom, AC/fan, hair dryer, beach towels, mini bar (for a fee), safe and two sun beds as well as a little veranda with wooden chairs and table.

Diving

Helengeli is paradise for the divers. The Ocean-Pro Dive Team is a PADI diving school under a Swiss management. The programme includes all PADI courses from the beginner level to assistant instructor and a lot of special courses. The dive sites around Helengeli are known as one of the bests of the Maldives. Because of the location of Helengeli almost no other dive boats are seen on these spots.

Start the day with our home made oven fresh bread and tropical fruits from our varied breakfast buffet.
