Kuredu Island Resort is located in Lhaviyani Atoll, an area famous for its abundant fish life. A paradise dream in real life, with more than 3 km of white beaches and aquamarine lagoons. Kuredu is situated on the northern reef of the Lhaviyani Atoll, 80 miles north of the international Airport 'Hulhule', 40 minutes by seaplane from the airport. Exotic, thatched bungalows and spacious villas accommodate our guests. Bungalows and Villas line the white sand beach, while Sangu Sunset Water Villas are built on columns over the lagoon. Our guests chose from 2 resorts and 4 catagories of rooms. On the western end of the island the magnificent Sangu Resort with exclusive Bar, Restaurant and Reception offers the fabulous Sangu Sunset Water Villas. Whereas Kuredu Island Resort offers the cosy and comfortable Beach Bungalows and the beautiful Beach Villas.

	Beach Bungalows (56 sq.m) These beautifully designed thatched bungalows are situated on the northern beach of the island. All the beach bungalows are comfortably furnished with rattan furniture and a spacious open-air bathroom with a walk in shower and also features a garden. The facilities availabe: CD-Player, Tea / Coffee making facilities, Air conditioning, Ceiling fan, Mini-Bar, Safe, Telephone, Beach towels, Hair Dryer[on request], wooden terrace and sun beds. These rooms were renovated during summer of 2004.
	Beach Villas (60 sq.m) These villas are cosy and comfortable and offers a magnificent view of the Indian Ocean. Enjoy a walk in the fine white and sandy beaches just a few steps away on the south-east and south-west part of the island. Having a spacious bedroom, a sitting area and a small garden, these villas are exquisitely furnished with wrought iron furnitures and romantic open-air bathrooms, also a walk in shower and a furnished verandah. Facilities available: Four poster beds, Air Conditioning, Ceiling fan, Mini Bar, Safe, Telephone, Sun beds, Beach Towels, Hair Dryer, Kimono, CD & Cassette player and Tea / Coffee making facilities.s
	Sangu Jacuzzi Beach Villa (76 sq.m) These villas were constructed in the year 2002. Each of these villas features a spacious secluded garden with a wooden deck and also a Jacuzzi.These villas are 76 sq.m in size and includes a bathroom, verandah and a garden. Facilities available: Four poster beds, Air Conditioning, Ceiling fan, Mini-Bar, Safe, Telephone, Sun bedds, Beach towels, Hair-Dryer, Kimonos, CD & Casette player and Tea / Coffee making facilities.The Sangu Beach Villas have a beautiful bar and an exclusive restaurant in traditional Maldivian Style.
	Sangu Water Villas (70 sq.m) Built on 2002, these water villas are constructed on wooden columns in the north-west side of the lagoon and offers a romantic view of the sunset from a very well furnished verandah, and also from the sun deck which steps down straight into the lagoon. These villas have a panoramic view of the Indian Ocean and also have spacious bedroom and sitting area and also walk in shower overlooking the lagoon. The Sangu Water Villas have a beautiful bar and an exclusive restaurant in traditional Maldivian Style, although you have the option to eat in the other main restaurants Bonthi &Coamas. Facilities availabe: Four poster beds, Air Conditioning, Ceiling fan, Mini bar, Safe, Telephone, Sun beds, Beach Towels, Hair-dryer, Kimonos, CD & Cassette player and Tea / Coffee making facilities.

Golf Club - Believe it or not golf has finally arrived in the Maldives!! Kuredu Golf Club is the first of its kind in the Maldives. The Golf course is located on the eastern portion of the Island, surrounded by natural forest and the noise of the ocean. There could be no where more peaceful for the game of golf. The Golf Club boasts a full size driving range with the option of a shaded area and also hitting from the grass. A large putting green is also available to perfect the short game. The golf course is a 6-hole Par 3 course with the average length of a hole being 55 yards. With some great characteristics on the golf course it proves to be a fun and ”sometimes” a challenging experience. The Kuredu Golf Club is a perfect setting not only to begin golf but a basic understanding of the game is necessary.

Water Sports - As the largest Watersports centre in the Maldives, we offer a wide range of activities to suit every interest and level of experience. Whether you have never tried it before, or you are an old pro at the sport, come and have some fun and thrills with us! If you are looking for power and speed….why not try wakeboarding or kitesurfing. If you are looking for something a little less strenuous, why not try Parasailing or Windsurfing?

Dining Information

The Sangu, ‘O’ & Koamas: serves wide buffets with show cooking for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Guests in the Sunset Water Villas, Jacuzzi Beach Villas and Beach Villas can also eat in main restaurants other than their allocated restaurant if they choose to with a prior table reservation.

‘O’ Restaurant: with deck spreading over the water on the eastern end of the island has an ambience of being one with nature. This is the allocated restaurant for the new Beach Villas on the north eastern part of the island.

Sangu Restaurant: is the allocated Restaurant for the guests in the Sunset Water Villas.

Koamas Restaurant: is also situated in the renovated signature building of Kuredu, serving international & local buffets with show cooking for breakfast, lunch and dinner for all guests in villas on the southern coast of the island comprising of some Beach Villas, and Jacuzzi Beach Villas.

Bonthi Restaurant: is located within the signature building of Kuredu in the centre of the island and it is the main restaurant for the guests in Beach Bungalows for all their meals. Bonthi serves international and local cuisine on rotating theme nights chosen from around the world.

Sai Kotari: is our romantic tea house. Situated at the end of Kuredu harbour, "Sai Kotari" offers from dusk till midnight exclusive fresh Ceylon tea in 9 different flavours and a variety of coffee cocktails.

Golf Bar: Quench your thirst with a cold beer or a soft drink after your golf practice

‘O’ Bar: is luxury entwined with breathtaking view of the Indian Ocean.

The other bars include : Sangu Bar, Pool Bar, Akiri Bar, Babuna Bar.
